Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of You Can't Stump The Trump

[edit]

Hello Centipede92,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged You Can't Stump The Trump for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Trivialist (talk) 03:17, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

Your GA nomination of Hachijō-jima

[edit]

The article Hachijō-jima you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Hachijō-jima for things which need to be addressed. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Nihonjoe -- Nihonjoe (talk) 01:01, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Just a quick reminder of the above. I would make the changes myself, but then my review wouldn't count toward passing it as a Good Article. ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 17:38, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Hachijō-jima

[edit]

On 27 April 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Hachijō-jima, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that when Ulysses S. Grant visited the island of Hachijō-jima in 1877, he was ceremonially adopted by the village chief and given a name meaning "courageous general" in the local dialect? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hachijō-jima. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Hachijō-jima), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
